Our arts and humanities degrees equip you with the skills you need for a career in today’s dynamic media and cultural industries.
Content is key and as creators of content, digital media specialists are in strong demand for communication and marketing roles across Australia. Skills in digital media and content creation are a secret weapon for any business owner or entrepreneur and can set you up for a rewarding career in marketing and communications, design, film, TV, radio and print journalism or public relations. You can also choose to study Digital Media as a shared major in the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business and Enterprise, Bachelor of Indigenous Knowledge or in the Bachelor of Psychological Science.
"The ultimate career goal for me is to be on
air but I feel like media is such a diverse area that I can literally take my
degree anywhere; if I wanted to I could go
into digital marketing or journalism or write for a
newspaper." - Lauren, Digital Media student.
At Southern Cross University we're always looking for a better way to do things, that's why we created 'The Southern Cross Model'. By dividing the academic year into six-week terms, with a maximum of two subjects per term, students are better able to focus, dive deeply into the subject matter and really learn. The content is highly interactive, with real-world applications; and it leaves more time for the other things you love.
