Terms and Conditions - 'Win a Lekker Amsterdam+ eBike'

By entering the ‘Win a Lekker Amsterdam+ eBike’ (Competition), you (the Entrant) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. All information on ‘how to enter’ forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
2. By submitting an entry into the Competition, you warrant that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
3. The Promoter is Southern Cross University Southern Cross University, (ABN 41 995 651 524; CRICOS Provider: 01241G) a body corporate incorporated under the Southern Cross University Act 1993 (NSW), of Military Road, East Lismore, NSW 2480, Australia P: 1800 005 687 (the “University”).
4. The Competition commences on Monday 20th March 2023 at 9am (AEDT) and will continue until 17th August 2023 at 5pm (AEDT) (the “Competition Period”).

Eligibility

5. Entry is open to all members of the general public in Queensland or Northern New South Wales.
6. Employees and their immediate families of the University are not eligible to enter the Competition.
7. Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, will not be eligible to win.
8. The University reserves the right to verify entries and may disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these terms and conditions.

How to enter

9. To enter, Eligible Entrants must complete all fields of the entry form during the Competition Period and enter via scu.edu.au/openday.
10. Eligible entrants may enter the Competition only once.

You agree and acknowledge

By entering into the Competition, you agree and acknowledge that:

11. The University may use your entry and your personal information, including first name, surname, phone, email, postcode, what best describes you, what are you interested in studying, where are you interested in studying and which Open Day are you attending (whether or not it wins a prize) for the University’s promotional purposes. The University may also send you information and marketing communications. You may request to not receive direct marketing from the University at any time.  You do not have to provide your personal information but will not be able to enter the Competition if you do not.
12. We will otherwise treat information you provide confidentially and will not use or disclose your personal information for another purpose without your consent unless we are required to do so by law. 13. The University will keep your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Management Plan: [http://policies.scu.edu.au/view.current.php?id=00018].
14. The University accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Competition Period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries.  The University is not responsible for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times.

Winning the prize

15. The prize is one of three Lekker Amsterdam+ eBikes and charger and a helmet valued at $3,087 each.
16. The entries will be filtered by campus preference and the winning entries will be selected at random from each campus on Friday 18 August 2023 at 2pm.
17. The winning entries will be notified by the University via email by 5pm Monday 21 August 2023. The winners will have their details published on 21 August 2023 on scu.edu.au.
18. The winners will receive one ‘Lekker Amsterdam+ eBike and charger’ and a helmet that will be posted through standard domestic postage to the winners once they have provided their postal address. Alternatively, if a winner would like to pick up the prize from the Southern Cross University Lismore, Bilinga or Coffs Harbour campus they can choose to do so.
19. If any prize is unclaimed a prize draw will be conducted on 18 October 2023 by 5pm at the same place as the original draw. The winner will be contacted by email within two business days and will have their name published on scu.edu.au.
20. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable.
21. In all matters, all decisions of the University will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
